Dotted Eyes to speak at AGI conference
We are delighted to announce that two of Dotted Eyes’ management team have been selected to speak at this month’s prestigious AGI conference, AGI GeoCommunity ’13. Held annually, this event is the UK’s largest independent GI conference and covers a wide range of issues facing today’s GI industry.
Mike Talbutt, Head of Delivery at Dotted Eyes, has been chosen to discuss how organisations can gain efficiency savings through harnessing open demographic data. Mike believes many organisations are still largely unaware of the vast amounts of open demographic data available to them and how when combined with GIS systems it can be used to drive businesses forward. In his presentation he will discuss what open demographic data is available and how it can be utilised in GIS systems in terms of visualisation but also in functionality to aid decision making.
Also speaking at the conference is Matt Longman, Head of Consultancy at Dotted Eyes. Matt has been chosen to provide his frank viewpoint on the current challenges and opportunities facing commercial organisations in the face of ever increasing financial pressures placed upon the public sector. What will make Matt’s presentation so unique is that he will be looking at it from both sides of the fence, having moved to Dotted Eyes from a senior public sector role just two years ago. He will also be using his experience at Dotted Eyes of providing consultancy services to some of the biggest commercial organisations around as well as public sector clients.
