94% score our FME event one of the best events they’ve attended
Each year we try to build upon the success of our previous FME events to make them even more engaging and entertaining than the last. And it looks like we’ve succeeded once again – 94% of delegates scored our recent FME event as one of the best events they’d ever attended.
Hosted in our home town of Birmingham at the start of April, our FME event proved so popular that within just a few weeks of announcing the date it had sold out. We promised an event that would be worth waiting for and delegates, who had travelled from right across the UK to attend, were not left disappointed.
At Dotted Eyes we don’t believe in sitting still. We’re constantly innovating, whether it’s developing new solutions for our customers or hosting events that inspire a fresh way of thinking. We’re always striving to do better. Each year we try and raise the bar by introducing new sessions to our FME agenda that have never been done before – not just in the UK but globally too.
Having listened carefully to delegates from previous years, this year we introduced the FME-a-thon. This in-depth and fun technical challenge was aimed at all levels of users and enabled delegates to get hands-on with the software. Working under the guise of a crack team of data management specialists for the Government, our delegates were tasked with using FME to stop the spread of a deadly disease.
Ken Bragg, European Services Manager at Safe Software, also travelled all the way to the UK to share the latest and greatest developments in FME 2014. Throughout the day Ken was on hand, along with Dotted Eyes’ three certified FME professionals, to provide delegates with tips and tricks on how to get the best from FME.
Our ultimate goal was for delegates to leave buzzing with new concepts and ideas that they could then apply in their own workplace. And based upon the feedback, it looks like we achieved it.
